The
newest Go Daddy Girl is a world-class athlete, Playboy cover model and savvy
businesswoman...now add network television correspondent to the list. That's
right. Amanda Beard now has her own Go Daddy segment on Fox TV's Best Damn
Sports Show... Period. It's all part of an exclusive partnership sponsored by
GoDaddy.com and it debuts on Fox Sports Network tomorrow night at 9 p.m. (Wed.,
Jan. 9)
The Go Daddy Girl will take viewers inside the edgier side of
sports and test the boundaries of television sports reporting for her first
assignment from the heart of Bourbon Street. While millions of Americans watched
Louisiana State beat Ohio State in the BCS Championship game Monday evening,
Amanda was producing her new off-the-field story to air tomorrow
night.
"Amanda is an accomplished athlete. She's clearly articulate and
of course she's smokin' hot," said Go Daddy CEO and Founder Bob Parsons. "What
we really like about her is the GoDaddy-esque style she puts into her reporting.
She's totally in line with the no-holds barred approach on Best Damn
Sports."
Parsons is working with Fox on another project right now too, trying
to get a commercial approved for next month's Super Bowl broadcast originating
from Arizona.
Amanda will step onto the global stage later this month,
when she'll tape several segments around the Phoenix area in the days leading up
to Super Bowl XLII. Befitting her role as a Go Daddy Girl, she'll swing into
some of the area's hottest nightspots and parties, including the legendary Birds
Nest at the FBR Open. She'll also hit the exclusive Rockridge Estate compound,
where she'll get the inside scoop on the Best Damn Super Bowl Party Period, and
hang with some of Hollywood's biggest celebrities.
The Go Daddy Girl is
also scheduled to guest star on the 6th annual Best Damn Super Bowl Roadshow
Period, where she hosts her own segment Wednesday Jan. 30 through Friday Feb. 1.
Each of Amanda's scheduled appearances is guaranteed to raise pulses with a
sizzling hot promo featuring the seven-time medalist in a sleek Go Daddy
swimsuit.
Last October, Amanda officially joined Go Daddy, the world's
largest registrar for Web site names. She was all smiles at the news conference
during which Parsons welcomed her to the team, which includes fellow Go Daddy
Girls Danica Patrick and Candice Michelle. Today Amanda is appearing at the
Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegason behalf of
GoDaddy.com.
"This company knows how to put it all together," Amanda
declared. "Go Daddy is clearly the best at what they do, but they also know how
to have fun and isn't that what it's all about?
Weaving GoDaddy-esque
elements into my reports just comes naturally and it makes my work with Fox all
the more fun!"
A long-time Web blogger, Amanda also hosts her Web site at
Go Daddy. To see what she's blogging about these days, visit
